 Jon Kiru - Director of Golf

Jon Kiru has built a long and successful career as both a professional golfer and coach.  

Starting as a public golf course player, he won the City of Toronto Public Golf Course Champions Title as a 15-year-old in the Men's Division.  

Through his success on the CJGA, Jon was selected to represent Team Canada in the Caribbean and in Scotland.  Jon then went to school in Kansas on a golf scholarship where he was exposed to top-quality golf and competition and received coaching from first-class instructors. 

 

Jon played professionally for 6 years in Thailand on the Asian and Singha Tours.
 

Jon has over 2,500 hours of golf teaching experience and is a certified SNAG Junior Golf Instructor who currently coaches three NCAA Div. 1, and two Mackenzie Tours Players.
 

Jon's approach to teaching is a simple “quiet” technique that uses minimal motion while utilizing core muscles and club placement to deliver consistent results.  
 

Jon brings over 20 years' experience in golf to his coaching.  He is committed to providing a positive learning experience for his students, regardless if they are first-timers or seasoned golfers looking for that little extra to improve their game.

Jon's personality and passion for the game are apparent from the moment you meet him.  His insights are sure to improve your on-course performance and enjoyment of golf all around.
